Title: QA/QC Specialist-Aviation Data Analytics Warehouse platform Location: Remote Duration: 4 years Project work entails further development and maintenance of the Aviation Data Analytics Warehouse platform, including integration of new datasets, implementation of enhancements to pipelines, troubleshooting bugs, and providing detailed documentation. This work requires experience with agile project delivery management and experience in Microsoft Azure cloud development. We are creating a team of Program Manager, Cloud Architect/Team Lead, Data Engineer, and QA/QC Specialist.
Responsibilities
- Data Validation and Testing: Verify that data loaded in the ADAW platform matches source systems through automated alerts and dashboards.
- Data Quality Monitoring: Develop and maintain automated daily data quality checks and identify anomalies and inconsistences, investigate root cause and escalate issues to Data Engineering team.
- Dashboard and Report Validation: Confirm reports align with business requirements and verify calculations and fields used in dashboards and reports.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support: Develop UAT test scenarios and document test results, tracking and resolving issues with Data Engineering team before final subject matter expert (SME) release.
Qualifications
- Microsoft Azure Platform, including Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Azure SQL, Databricks, and DevOps.
- Relational databases, including Microsoft SQL Server.
- Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
