purpose, to study and modify the program, and to freely redistribute copies
of the original or modified program.
Its key features are:
- Free Redistribution
- Source Code distribution
- The program is distributed in source code as well as compiled form
IT industry and professionals have invested time and money into building sound Open Source products.
Organizations should start capitalizing on it and saving money on industry's Open Source Software initiatives.
BUSINESS NEED:
Smart organizations have, in recent times, pursued software technologies
that were based on Open/Industry Standards.
